Best Journaling App For Iphone
Sad version of a great desktop app
I love MacJournal for the Mac. I use it often. It is feature-rich, friendly and functional.
The iOS app, on the other hand, is terrible. It crashes often, loses text, deletes entries, and has several other bugs besides. If it worked, it would be great; its feature set is better in some ways than any app I've seen—creation of hyperlinks, posting to blogs, etc. But the incredibly buggy software, and the slow development cycle, leave very much to be desired.
Better journaling program for IOS
I’ve used MacJournal for years. The IOS version went through a little rough patch a few years ago and I switched to Day One. The feature set in that app is so limited compared to MacJournal. I switched back and was glad I did because the development team at MacJournal put a lot of effort into upgrading and improving the IOS app. Haven’t had a single problem since. Absolutely the best journaling app for IOS/MacOS.
Syncing between iOS and Mac

When you are like me you would like an autosync function that syncs your MacJ documents between all your devices automatically. Syncing with Dropbox makes this possible. Just make sure you close your MacJ app whenever you finish working if you intent to switch devices.
